The inspiration for catiOasis was born out of a desire to enrich the lives of our own cats.
Initially, they were indoor cats only, as we didn’t have a way to let them play outside safely. But they would often lay on windowsills, trying to find a spot in the sun, and would paw at the windows, excited when they saw birds or butterflies. We knew we needed to find a solution to let them enjoy the outdoors while keeping them safe and sound. We wanted a unique cat enclosure that would match our home, and contain fun elements to keep our cats engaged.
It wasn’t easy to find something that was high quality and ideal for our space, so we decided to design and build our own! Soon others started asking us to design catios for their cats, and catiOasis was born. Ken is a professional contractor, Rebecca is a former BC SPCA employee, and most importantly, we are cat people. Trust us to be your partner in providing the best outdoor living space for your cat.
